Pine Lodge/Kitchen Clean Up Day - May 31st

This Saturday, May 31st ,Sherri Moody is coordinating a cleanup day of the Pine Lodge and Kitchen. Everything has to be cleaned - yes, every dish, etc washed and readied for camp that begins on June 8th! She can use all kinds of helpers - they will be working from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. If you can help head on down to the valley! Thanks to the many volunteers who have been down the last three weekends getting things ready to go! Thanks to Bill and Sherri and Ron Burge for leading the way!

Work Day Saturday 5/10

Last Saturday we had folks working in various areas at camp. Some items that were accomplished: new doors on pine lodge bathrooms, sand spread on sand volleyball, rock smoothed out, several truck loads of logs split, Cabins 1,2,3 deep cleaned, new lights and fans in "boys" bathhouse, fan in pantry area of kitchen and more! If you want to get in on the action this Saturday, May 17th is Cleaning Day - we need to deep clean cabins 4.5.6., staff cabins, castle and more!

There is much to do . there is work on every hand..

Does that title sound familar? This Saturday, May 10th is a repair day at Ne-O-Tez. Ron Burge has lots of tasks and needs many hands to complete. Come on down anytime from 8:00 am on. We can use all skill levels. If you can't make it this Saturday there is another opportunity on 5/17 and then kitchen and pine lodge cleaning on 5/31. Hope to see some of you there this Saturday. We're Ready for a Picnic

Jason, Ron and Marlin were busy this week building new picnic tables for the canteen area! They delivered them to camp today! Things are rolling for camp preparations. If you can come help on one of our work days please contact Bill Moody. (See below post about work days)

Staff Training - Sunday, April 27th

This Sunday, April 27th is Ne-O-Tez staff training! If you want to work at camp this summer: counselor, dishwasher, sports, canteen dude, etc you need to be at staff training. Staff Training is held at Maryland Heights Church of Christ and starts with a pizza lunch at 12:30 pm. There is no charge for training and it will finish up about 5:00 pm. Please let Dave Berry, 314.739.8656 know if you plan to be there. Most of the weekly directors will be there and you can talk to them about working at camp. Come and catch up with your camp buddies and get excited for a summer at Ne-O-Tez! Don't forget to get your applications in for the week you are planning to attend.
